An educational experience at Pointe-à-Callière

An entertaining and sound immersion in the incredible world of water

Montreal, Quebec (2022)

The former Youville Pumping Station (1916-1990) is at the center of a new educational experience at Pointe-à-Callière Museum. Through the activities of the exhibition “S-EW-ERS! The Youville pumping Station”, young people experience a surprising adventure in this original industrial heritage site.

The mandate of Troublemakers included musical direction, musical composition and sound design.

Through this educational and entertaining experience, students gain a better understanding of the ecological, technological, and historical issues surrounding Montreal’s wastewater. The exhibition raises young people’s awareness of public health concepts and the environment through various challenges and teamwork. A special soundtrack has been designed to immerse visitors in the incredible but true world of wastewater. Quebec rapper FouKi and Mike Clay (of Clay and Friends) lend their voices to the music accompanying the exhibition.
