Using 3D animation, interactive, and generative content within large scale LED displays, Gentilhomme has completely reimagined the passenger experience for Orlando International Airport’s brand new Terminal C.
The mandate of Troublemakers included musical composition, sound design and on-site content integration of one of these installations, Windows on Orlando.
From swimming underwater with manatees to flying alongside massive bird migrations, the Gentilhomme’s team designed and produced a series of digital immersive experiences that explore the knowns and unknowns of greater Central Florida. By collaborating with Disney, NASA, or Space-X, the airport’s 40 million annual passengers can discover spectacular scenes.
Windows on Orlando capsule allows passengers to see 3D worlds beyond the terminal. With this “magic portal”, Troublemakers has designed original sound experiences around Florida themes like artscapes, ranchland scenes, cloud atlases, and beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
Gentilhomme was awarded this project by the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, collaborating with Sardi Design, MRA International, Burns Engineering, Hahn International, SACO, Smart Monkeys, and Electrosonic.
