The Alaska exhibition is a complete overhaul of the Anchorage gallery by GSM Project.
Troublemakers was mandated for sound design and the integration of on-site audio content.
The main intention proposed by GSM Project was to completely rethink the space and its museum experience in an open-plan layout with interactive and multimedia stations. This type of space requires that each station and its audio be considered as a piece of a puzzle that has to fit together harmoniously from a sound perspective. To ensure the success of this type of endeavour, the on-site integration phase is essential, as the sound of each station and how it interacts with the other sections is only uncovered once on site.
