Initiated and produced by Cultival in partnership with the Musée de l’Armée, Moment Factory‘s new original creation, AURA Invalides, is an immersive nocturnal light experience in the heart of the Dôme des Invalides, an emblematic monument in Paris.
Troublemakers had the mandates of musical composition, orchestral recording, sound design and on-site audio content integration.
The 50-minute multimedia show invites visitors to (re)discover the architectural heritage of Les Invalides through digital art structured in three movements. These evoke the monument’s core elements: the creation of its Dome, the collective memory, and its aura of universal elevation.
The AURA Invalides soundtrack provides a unique and moving experience in the legendary Parisian site, where acoustics played a key role in the musical composition and sound integration on site.
In total, an orchestra of 36 musicians led by award-winning Canadian conductor Adam Johnson, a choir of 16 singers, a soprano, a harpist and a pianist took part in the recording of the musical piece in several Montreal studios.
The AURA Invalides immersive experience is open to the public in the nightfall. Book online: aura-invalides.com
